Comedian and author David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Prolific young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the move was reached following an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions towards women.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Highly Successful Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over more than 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into TV movies.
He has published more than 40 books in total, including a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.
